Soru How to Start Learning Makam Music as a New Begginner

Good Afternoon,
I am a Indian Student who is learning Western Violin for 3 Years. Recently i have been Entralled by Turkish Classical Music and Folk Music, I wanted to learn how to play them on the Violin but i cannot find proper Guidance on how to play these Pieces. I only know the Western Notation and am very confused upoun seeing the Microtonal Intervals. I have been stuck on learning as i cannot find a proper explanation as many of the Pieces arre for Oud or Ney etc. I am confused on how to apply them to Violin.
Can anyone help in this regard. Basically how should i start learning Makam as a Western Violinist? Where should i start?

Greetings! Without being able to properly answer your question, I'm still curious about an apparent overlap / sharing between music of India and Asia Minor, specially when comparing makams to ragas. I was under impression that both traditions make a heavy use of microtones, is that not the case?

Memorize classical pieces, listen to them carefully. Its not played as its in the note sheet but, the backwards bemol are usually played lower in uşşak huseyni etc.. and sharp's are moving . So just listen carefully start with easy pieces, listen from gpod masters. Like necdet yaşar-niyazi sayın-ihsan özgen. Search for good musicians. If possible start getting lessons with a tutor for Turkish Music.
